Post-Challenge One

Subject: Post-Challenge One Tue Jul 30, 2013 4:09 pm

Tiana was sitting on the weak, old, wooden bench trying to keep her nerves together knowing her team was going to the first elimination. She was saddened that they didn't win despite their hard work, but she was happy she tried her best even with high heels and a skirt.

She took off one of her heals, patting the bottom, causing small pebbles to fall out. No wonder her feet had been killing her. Afterward, Tiana searched through her purse to find her compact make up, lightly touching up her face.

"As much fun as Mexico was, that heat killed me," stated Tiana as she laid back, "At least my I didn't lose either of my earrings."

Carlson was so excited that her team won first challenge. Everyone, including the own team had doubts that they could do anything because they were so random and opposing to each other- and they guys looked weak for the most part. They did it though! She skipped down up the stairs as they reboarded the plane and made a little wave to Tiana.

"Well girl, if you can not even take a little heat, I would hate to see how your team does in future challenges~" she giggled a little before continuing, "Pretty earrings though- and hope to see you later if you do not get the boot~!" She led her team as they began exiting through to First Class area.

"Girl I hope I don't!" Tiana sheepishly replied.

Thinking about it, who would she even vote for? She just met everyone, and they all seemed like great team mates. There really wasn't anyone she disliked, and she didn't want to say goodbye to anyone either. She placed her make up back into her purse and tried to take a nap, but with the comfort she had that was pretty hard to do.

Ai's shoulders slumped ever so slightly as he sighed and grinned at his teammates. To lose early in the game and keep a bad mood about it wasn't going to help them. What they needed was a new plan of action and the spirits to carry it out! “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop, am I wrong? Please gather yourselves, my friends, for we have not lost yet.”

Ai slowly closed his eyes like Tiana had, but was still fully conscious. He needed to focus his thoughts as his team spoke so that he could make his decision for tonight's elimination. What is best for us right now...?

Ruby was lying upside down on the bench with her legs kicked up against the wall and her head dangling amongst her team mates legs. She let out a hefty sigh.

"The problem was the temple was UP-hill. What bozos thought it would be a good idea to build it UP? I tell you, if *I* was running things, we'd build INTO the ground. Social status would be determined by how deep into the earth you are. That's how it works for moles and they have it pretty good! I mean, ever seen a depressed mole? *I* sure haven't."

She folder her arms and thought more about this.

Wally was sitting quietly, a huge pout on his face... He was soooo disappointed. The thing he was most excited about for this competition was the singing, and he'd totally missed out because he'd managed to trip and knock himself out during the musical number. He let out a dramatic sigh and flopped over on the bench, letting his hands dangle over the side. "what do the Mayans have against me getting a solo? Song writing is like... My thing!"

Ruby glanced over, her face getting redder from being upside down, but seemingly not caring? She looked over to wally. Sigh. He's so desperate, his song would probably be so butts, like a literal song about butts. Hmmm...

Ruby spaced out briefly until realising she'd spent a good 10 minutes thinking how a song about derrieres would go. She flipped up quickly.

"Sorry. What? I was thinking about..............butts."

She looked at Wally. "I think songs are kind of hard to do, if you want to take my place next time. Go for it. You can even be carried by the xen kid. He kinda freaks me anyway."

She looked to her right to see Ai has been sat next to her this entire time.

"...How does he do that?"

Tiana opened her eyes and looked over to her team.

"I'm sorry y'all. I bet if I had worn climbing shoes I would have been all up on that pyramid thing. But I know we can win if we have a guess the lip gloss flavor challenge!"

Tiana was worried because even with that 50 meter run, she quickly let the heat get to her, which isn't good for staying on the team's good side.

Ruby glanced over. "Lip gloss guessing? I'd be better if it was a contest on naming which contest ideas suck the most. Lip gloss guessing and contest suckitude rating. In that order."

She looked back to wally.

"Ugh. I don't wanna go yet. We've barely had a chance to awkwardly ruin eachothers lives yet."

Still with his eyes closed, Ai felt Ruby's harshness towards him in her tone. Her critical judgement of him was quite unnerving since he had already gone out of his way to assist her during the challenge. Inside he was almost completely consumed with a burning inferno of rage, but in an instant it disappeared as he breathed out calmly and spoke in a hushed tone. “I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand...”

Ai opened his eyes as he weighed the situation. He felt the three medallions he wore around his neck. Along with himself, Wally also got three which saved the team from being disqualified in part one. In part two, Tiana's speed is what kept them in the lead until their uneventful ending. It was too soon to speak of outting someone with everyone gathered though... he felt that Juliet would know best so he may wait until she spoke.

"I don't wanna go home either. I wanna siiing." he groaned and flopped over on his other side, childishly, causing his hat to fall off. Wally's eyes widened and he frantically sat up pulling his hat back on. No one needed to see how froless he was. NO ONE. Finally, legitimately trying to join the conversation he piped up: "I once ate a tube of lipgloss... It's not as good as it smells."

Ruby shuddered at Ai's remarks, which had gone completely over her head, or rather, under her head as she was upside down again. She turned back to Wally.

"Oh dude, no way. I don't use it cause i just always end up eating it off my lips, it's like the smell is so good i don't care how bad it tastes, then..I..sort of always eat the rest....I still buy them though...I think i have a problem."

"I just remember that my sister had one that smelled like red skittles... And red skittles are the best. So, I figured why not? And then it tasted so bad, and she got all angry, so I blamed it on the dog." he was quiet, blinking for a few moments "aw crap... This is tv... She's gonna know now."

Ruby stifled laughter, but failed miserable.

"Pfftbahahahaha! You sorry sack of dork! Well if it helps i had a cherry one too once. I'm allergic to cherries, so it ended up blowing my lips up for like TWO DAYS. Worst part was some dude said i had really kissable lips for it, and that's the first time i ever got flirted with. Hm...And the last..maybe..Maybe i should get more cherry lip gloss.."

Wally remembered hitting on Ruby a bunch last season... He also remembered getting smacked once, so he was unsure whether of not to remind her of that. "Note to self, never feed you cherries" Wally nodded with a smile "For me... Just don't like... feed me wasps. Because I'll die." he shuddered thinking again about the previous season and being locked in a room doused in syrup to face his fear.

"Hmmm...last season.." Ruby thought back and remembered Anne giving her makeover whilst screeching "Popular" down her ear. "Ugh..just no makeovers.." she reeled. She thought back to when she'd tripped Anne over for doing that, man that girl was crazy. Weirdly helpful though, and kinda nice?

"How's it feel for you being one of the returning players?"

Wally stretched "pretty good actually~ guess they only picked the prettiest faces to come back... They probably remembered the musical challenge too and the song I wrote for-" he stopped himself. Nope. He wouldn't bring on Manda. Manda was awkward and embarrassing to think about. "That one song I wrote... I've been working on some new material actually. Hopefully I'll be able so showcase before being booted out again... You happy to be back?"

She looked around. "I'm....EH to be back. It's a place to be i guess. And i don't have to deal with public transport with those DAMN elderly and their shopping bags. THEY NEVER GET OFF, THEY ALREADY HAVE THEIR SHOPPING WHERE ARE YOU GOING ELDERLY LADY?!"

She regained sanity.

"But uh..why not do a song or something. I mean i don't CARE, if it makes you feel better i guess jeez. GET OFF MY CASE AND SING."

Wally never missed any opportunity to sing. He sprung to his feet and eager looked about for his song book. "maaan. I wish I had Shiela with me! She'd make this so so much better. What should I sing? What do you wanna hear?"

Ruby shrugged. "Iunno. I'm in the mood for some hardcore gangster rap. But..I'm ALWAYS up for that. Cause it is da bomb, yo. So uh, whatever feels right i guess, dude."

Wally froze. "Gangster rap?..." He barely listened to normal rap... The only stuff he'd heard was stuff played on the radio, but of course, he never wanted to be one to disappoint "Oh yeah sure! I can totally do that!" Wally cleared his throat very loudly, stalling for a moment to think. What did gangsters even sing about?

"Yoooooo. Yo yo?" (Yes. That was a start, right?)

"look at the bling and sun glasses, yo."

When I wear them you know I'm not like an average Joe

But I ain't no hoe... Because that's like a piece of farm equipment...O.

...Werd."

He smiled sheepishly hoping that had been hardcore enough. "But... It's like still a work in progress... just so you know"

Ruby's eyes lit up. "Why aren't you doing MORE of this?"

Wally perked up "really?" he held his sheepish smile and rubbed his arm. "I dunno... I've never really saw myself as much of a rapper... I dunno if I have like street cred for that or something... I mean I've jaywalked a couple times, but does that count?"
